iER Mobile App

When you have successfully downloaded and registered on the iER App, our national network of emergency and security personnel can be dispatched to your emergency, 24 hours a day, every day.

Let’s get started

We would like to explain a few of the functions you will need when using the iER App.

Please do not use the “panic button” for testing.

Due to the ‘panic button’ alert being sent to everyone in your immediate vicinity, this button should not be used for test purposes.

You are welcome to test any of the other alerts, using a TEST note to indicate that you are testing the iER App.

Select the type of alert you need to submit.

Select Alert Cell

Select the cell you would like to notify. A cell always needs to be chosen however you can select the iER call centre Cell which only notifies the iER call centre. Once you have selected the cell, select ‘OK’.

Add Alert Note

Select the text field in order to open your keyboard so that you can type a message. Once you have entered a message, click continue to submit the details. When testing the app please add a test note so that we are aware that the alert was submitted for testing purposes.

Select Alert Cell

You can choose which friends to add to each cell or category and which alerts to send to each cell.

There are 2 kinds of Cells.

Public Cells: Cells that anyone can view and request to join. For example your local CPF or Security Company.

Private Cell: Cells that you have created and only you can view.

iER is automatically added as a friend on each cell and your alerts will always be sent to the iER call centre Cell for assistance.

How to respond to an alert

Alert Popup

When receiving an alert, you can respond to say that you can assist, are unable to help, and even forward the alert to someone else.

Additional Alert Note

The alert will show you the emergency and the location of the person. If you want directions to the scene you can press the blue arrow, which will give you a map to the location. You can call the person by pressing the telephone button. If you are accepting the alert you can also send a note to the person.

Alert Feedback

Your friend will receive confirmation that you are on your way, and how long it might take to reach them.
