How Can You Download the iER App?

Step 1:

Go to the app store on your smartphone (available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Huawei App Gallery). Search for “Integrated Emergency Response” and select download or install.

Step 2:

Once the download is complete, you can open the app, which will prompt you to enter your mobile number. A One-Time-Pin (OTP) will be sent to you, and once correctly entered, you will need to accept the Terms and Conditions of the app.

Step 3:

You will need to enter your details and those of your emergency contacts. Your details include information about medical cover, allergies, and relevant health data. Once completed, you can access the iER App landing page and emergency alert icons.

Step 4:

Now that you have your mobile app, you can send a test to ensure it functions properly on your smartphone. A test alert will mimic a real-life situation. A case report number will be sent to you on the iER App, and a response agent will contact you immediately.

Step 5:

When faced with an emergency, click the relevant alert icon or use the panic button widget. A case number will be generated and sent to you, and the control centre will have access to your GPS location. Please note that your location is only sent to our response centre once you have sent an alert. iER does not continuously track your location. You can use the in-app chat function to send updates using images, text messages, or voice notes.
